Lawman on Erin's myspace is her dad. She is the youngest of 3 kids. Her brother, KirK was killed within the past year in a MVA. Erin is one of the sweetest person that one could know. Erin and my daughter played the flute in high school together for games, band programs and in Hi-Plains league contests and would complete with each other for first chair. She has a beautiful voice and had done solo's during high school.

Keep Erin's family in your thoughts and prayers. The tragedies and illnesses that have occurred in their family, they will need all the support that we can give........

I'm sending prayers to her family. I can't imagine what they are going through. Did she go to school in Dodge City or a smaller surrounding town?

Um that guy named Chris in her my space is a cop. I think that is the same Chris that plays in that band. Looks like him anyway.

"Allegedly" the boyfriend, which is a local cop by the name of Taejon or something like that, found out his girlfriend Erin was seeing someone else and shot her.

He went to take a polygraph and then let go home were he took off.

He was supposedly under surveillance but "somehow" managed to escape/elude the police.

of course...this is only rumor.

What kind of police force is Dodge City running? First they have a wife beater as an officer and all they do is send him out of town instead of filing charges. Now, it appears we have an (ex-) girlfriend killer and they allow him to flee the area?

Call me stupid, but something just doesn't appear right to me!

If this is true, and he is at large, why hasn't the police released a picture so the public can be on the lookout? They would have done that for a non-cop who robbed a liquer store. Let's hope their fear of embarassment does not result in preferential treatment or a substandard investigation.

They were good to cantact the KBI rto handle the case, even if it was a little delayed. But, handling this case different than any other as it pertains to media releases and information under the veil of 'ongoing investigation' will undermine the publics confidence in police in general. The public has a right to know, cop or not.

Give us his picture and name him as a 'person of interest' so we can be watching for him.
