Some people just have too much time on their hands and watch too much cops shows on TV. that is not real life. those shows are about half to one hr long to get their man and solve the case Also folks put up or shut up, if you think you can do a better job, go to 110 W spruce or contact the KBI for an app.

"After investigating, troopers discovered Tahah is a suspect in a homicide investigation being conducted by Dodge City authorities in Kansas." Last time I checked, the KBI weren't Dodge City authorities. Also, I agree with wordsmythe, that police officers should be held to a higher standard. After all, when they accept the job and put on the uniform, they are no longer representing just themselves, they are representing all law enforcement and the city which employs them.

Maybe if you want to brag about your intelligence, you should learn how to spell intelligent. Also, while we are on the subject of intelligence, non ignorant is two words or hyphenated, it isn't proper to have it all in one word.

| First off, let me just restate what I've said in previous posts, I've never had a problem with the police officers themselves. They are great people and I commend them. However, I do think the some brass of the DCPD are lacking. And I'm sure that job doesn't start at 30000 a year! That is where the policy is set. But that in no way is a backhand to the officers on the street doing their job. I think they do great work. There with that said, let me just say that I really don't see too much different in my two scenarios. The PD usually does mention names by now, especially if he/she is on the loose. I can't tell you how many times I see the news from Wichita where the WPD or KBI are looking for someone and they release the info so the public can help them out. If I'm not mistaken, that's why they invented the Crimestoppers number. (If not, please correct me) I just think that in this instance, a lot of innocent people (traveling on the interstate) could have been hurt or killed by the KBI or whoever by withholding this information. That could have been a lot of blood on someone's hand. Never had I said the case was special because he was a cop. This situation was bungled. |

You sure know a lot for someone who sits back and posts at work. If you know so much, enlighten us. By the way, how is that "bomb" have you checked it lately? It seems you have been spending a lot of your time criticizing the way others do their jobs, so maybe you should get back to work. Remember the whole world (sarcasm!!) depends on YOU!!! In reference to the 'traffic infractions'- it was from your comment about all the Dodge City Police Department posts on their website for most wanted, are those who have unpaid citations for no insurance or driving while suspended, etc. Enough said, you have no idea what is going on and the fact you think you do only makes you sound like an ignorant A** |
