Actually, I did spell "there" correctly, however you are correct that the proper use should have been "their." Forgive me, oh wise one, I didn't intentionally use the wrong word. I also will not worry about giving you any negative reputation as I don't feel it would do you any good.

I'm glad you don't live and die by this message board, I don't either. It is, however, a good place to visit with friends, and learn about news events that aren't getting published in the local paper or to just relax and have fun playing games in the arcade.

I'm watching the news. It says that ppl noticed that he was stalking her. Even neighbors confronted him about it, and he just said he was patrolling. Hm...I bet there is a lot of crime going on Bell street (well before all this). It said that he was charged with 2nd degree murder because of how the crime was committed, "unintentional, but reckless without regard for human life" - Sauer. It's not like shooting somebody execution style is an accident or unintentional...

I applaud both Lordfoulsbane and NoLongerInRadioGuy on their post. I have sat back and read the posts, thinking that I would not want to be in any officers shoes now or anytime. We take this people for qranted everyday and when something like this happens, we have to find blame. If you want to have the best outcome, whether it's finding the right mate for life or bringing justice and conviction to right person, it takes time. "Rome wasn't built in a day", so lets give this hard working officers, wherever they're from, time to get every detail correct and without flaw and not "slam" them.

We need to remember Erin, for the beautiful person she was, her parents, who have suffered so much in the past 10 months (with the loss of their only son)and to her children. Lets use the negative and turn it into positive, I'm sure that Erin would want it that way.

I couldn't agree more!

NoLongerInRadioGuy and Lordfoulsbane did a great job giving us clarification on a lot of the issues. It's always best to get accurate information, rather than speculations and rumors from uninformed people.

Erin's parents, children, family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers. I can't begin to imagine what they are going through.

Yes, Thanks to the officers for the information. I am pretty sure they had to get clearance to post that and so we thank the DCPD for filling us in.

Pleae keep us posted with what you can as this progresses, when you can. Again, thanks!

Aw come on JMIDC, have a heart. If we take away all of that, then we've become a bored recipe board.

I just noticed I got a bad rep for this post....

Actually what you say is true; however, my good guess is that he was applying at DCPD because everyone knew what was going on at Youthville. There is a big difference here; I was trying to move on with my life and make better decisions; he was there SCREWING up and screwing up kid's heads. BIG DIFFERENCE! Another thing that should have gave John Ball a big clue was me even talking to Craig Mellecker about what I was talking about. Just wasn't my style, unless I had to.

the bad rep says this...
DO YOU HAVE ANY EVIDENCE OF THIS? IF SO - GO TO THE KBI - OR WAS A LAW NEVER BROKE?? OR JUST YOUTHVILLE POLICY? BIIIIIG DIFFERENCE

Look You want me to find one of the girls he did this to? I can no problem. There were three of them. Ask his best friend, he knows about one, he stuck up for him than, but if he is smart, he won't now. That is a ****ed up saying "or is this just a Youthville Policy" Let's see here, he was an adult, a mentor, a role model, trying to have sex with girls in his care....ARE YOU ****ING KIDDING ME WITH THAT QUESTION????? Whoever gave me that bad rep makes me sick. I have talked about this FOREVER on Dodge Board before this even happened. I do have to say this, when I talked to Mellecker, Chris was not an employee yet; in fact I don't believe they hired him for a least a year, so they may have not even remembered what I said to them. I will give them that. Youthville on the other hand did not fire this guy after all the accusations; in fact, he was working with the teenage boys before the first accusation, and after that they let him work directly with the teenage girls....go figure that one out will you, because I sure couldn't when it happened. That within its self made me sick. Bottom line is nobody believed it even though some people visibly seen it. Some people swept it under the table because the first girl that it happened to turned 18 under our care and was discharged. Two days later Chris was attending a Jetmore Football game with her. He states "they were just friends" Ya right. I talked to her and she told me different. In fact she wrote me a letter one night while I was working telling me about Chris hitting on her and how she liked him(before she was discharged). I TURNED THAT IN TO MY SUPERVISOR WHICH TURNED IT INTO HIS. Nothing done. after that he was working with the teenage girls....???????? Call me a liar, I don't really care anymore.

Someone lost their life, the family is grieving the loss of their loved one, two children are without a mom, I wish I would have done more.....
