The horsetrack is actually not in south Dodge--it's just barely outside the city limits. It's under the County's jurisdiction, not the city.

I think agravated battery has a greater risk of his full time job than his part time one. Probably why the felony was dropped. He sure has a cloud that follows him around it seems. I don't know him but I would get someone to drive me to work if I was him. Seems folks really dislike him and would go to any extreme to prove how rotten he is. He might not seem to do a good job but the powers that hired him obviously have faith in him and since ya'll elected the folks that hired him - your beef should be with them.

I guess i don't get why you chose this man's article to rant about illegal immigrants. There are plenty of threads on here where you can expresss that. I don't see a problem with what he wrote. You say print the facts....well was the instructor not ACCUSED of the crime..doesn't say he was convicted. The way i read it, Mr. Candia was addressing moral decline of leaders. You're adding much more to this article than you really should.

No one has to prove he is rotten. He is doing that himself. These charges are not made up. This has nothing to do with if he's doing a good job or not....it has to do with did he break the law or not. Personally I believe since he represents others he should be held to a higher standard.

The horsetrack is north of the river on the west side of 14th, last time I checked that was in the city.

I doubt it that He will resign, why should he, something that should have been handle by their bosses, and their selfs. depends on the crime, I really don't see a crime here other than, a political one, yep you folks are right lot of people don't like him, but for our C/A out of the clear blue sky drummed up a Felony Charge, when the least if a crime was really committed, pay attention here folks, (if) it should have been address as a misdemeanor, as it is now, and that shouldn't even fly... I don't know how long some of you have lived in dodge, but when the big boys and the chamber don't get their way, watch out, seen it all my life here. As for Lee himself he isn't any worse then alot of old timers we have had in the pass, just plan old drunks living off of thier wife's money, and become hero's and some people eyes, just happen to play with the big boys, so many stories I could tell you folks, mishandling of justice, judges drunk on the bench, coffee shop talk between lawyers and so called Judges, pick and choose who gets it and who don't. by the way I didn't attack pablos mother or sister, just added a word to draw attention, see it all the time on this board. we all have the choice to speak our minds, and I am sure pablo will not suffer severe mental damage. that is it for now, damn I am tired.
