East of Matt Down Rd and North of Beeson and the river(bed) is not in the City? It is closer to 14th than Beeson Elementary. Does that mean that Beeson Elementary school is not in the city too? You should start a Terry Lee fan club and be his first and biggest fan.....Are you his PR rep? It sounds like you are blaming this on everyone else but him......was it everyone else's fault he filed bankruptcy also?

You've hit the nail right on the head. If your not a Chamber member in good standing and disagree with the big money boys you will get attacked. If anyone doesn't know who actually runs this city, they've had they head buried in the sand.

These people have done their damage to Lee and so it's ok now to drop the Felony charge to a misdemeanor.

Terry has always admitted his mistakes when he's made them. And he has admitted that what happened was not deserving a Felony charge, but rather what it has become now. A traffic violation.

No, it's not. See the Mapquest map? (Ignore the red star.) City limits are shown in brown. The horese race track is just south of Pheasant street and west of 14th.

It's the same between Avenue P and the airport. The City doesn't have the land in between. Same deal between the Dodge House and 27th & 28th streets. The Horse track is definitely in the County. I remember reading about this in the paper, and the County is the one who issues permits or whatever.

Along the same lines Miss K, the Dodge City Raceway Park is not in the City Limits either, it is in the county. So is this why they keep refusing to consider putting the SEC out there???

the raceway park has been anexed by the city. the horsetrack however has not....other than that, you would have to ask the commission or the mayor
