| Reproductive Rights for Men... The National Center For Men, men's rights counseling divorce paternity false accusation men's equal right More than three decades ago Roe vs. Wade gave women control of their reproductive lives but nothing in the law changed for men. Women can now have sexual intimacy without sacrificing reproductive choice. Women now have the freedom and security to enjoy lovemaking without the fear of forced procreation. Women now have control of their lives after an unplanned conception. But men are routinely forced to give up control, forced to be financially responsible for choices only women are permitted to make, forced to relinquish reproductive choice as the price of intimacy.

| Wear socks or go have the minimal invasive reversable proceedure. Just like women do. I thought they were on the verge of having a pill for men. Either way it's your choice. If ya don't wanna procreate and a woman snookers you - who is the most stupid? There are ways to make sure you don't leave little ones behind - step up and take responsibility for yourself - women have had to do it for years!

It only requires your initiative in the heat of the moment and you suddenly have the control to prevent 90% (or some magic success rate) of any future reproductive choices from being made. |

The point is that no matter what COULD have or SHOULD have been done before a pregnancy the woman gets all fo the decisions for all the people involved.

| Given the fact that humans aren't hermaphrodites or aren't capable of asexual reproduction -- and the fact that you aren't a seahorse -- I believe you and all other men may just be outta luck on that score. |

| And the woman pay child support for 18+ years for something they both did.

| The distinct problem with the pursuit of "equal rights for all" as it relates to children and the topic of pregnancy is that no amount of legislation or jurisprudence will ever result in a change of DNA. Fact: Women bear the responsibility of carrying eggs. Fact: Men bear the responsibility of carrying the material meant to fertilize the eggs. The very fact of the matter is that until men can choose to be born with a utuerus and women can elect to come prepackaged with sperm, men and women will remain different. I didn't say unequal - just different. Those differences mean that each gender has a specific role to play when it comes to species propagation, and until men evolve milk-producing breasts and a way to grow and protect a fetus ("Junior" not withstanding), women will always have to carry the child in utero for what must seem like an unending 9 months, and women have the choice of providing the resulting baby with sustenance and nourishment from their own body. Quite frankly, I'm not sure men will ever be able to have a final say in whether or not a woman chooses not to carry a child to term. That's the price for being able to have sex and walk away without worry - at least for those callous types out there. Financial responsibilities ex post facto, however, there could definitely be room for better equality there. |
