He was tried and convicted of obstruction of justice. If there was no crime, why did he lie?

After all the times you've brought up Clinton and gone off about it I can't believe you aren't going off about this. Do you good 30percenters only believe in the rule of law when it suits you?

Clinton went through his trial for that and took his punishment for it. Scooter didn't and after the November elections it'll all get washed away in a pardon.

I am willing to bet mucho dollars that Wordy here cried and threw sh!t fits when Clinton was impeached for the same thing as Libby. I am willing to bet he said such things like "it's only sex", "it's a trumped up charge", "it's only perjury it's not like he killed somebody", "it's just a political witch hunt". If any of those slipped your mouth then you are a dirty hypocrite and your word is forever dirt, just like 90% of the Democrats on TV denouncing this commutation. Especially in lite of the fact that Libby will still have this on his record, will still pay fines, will still do probation. Unlike a slew of Clinton PARDONS like Marc Rich.

W will pardon Libby because he was a good soldier and took one for the team. He'll never pay a dime of that "fine" because he has people like you willing to pony up the money for him.
