I agree with treating him as a perverted bastard he is, but do you really think the NFL will allow the trial to happen before the season? I don't hardly think so. So he'll play as an "innocent" man, be tried after the season (which wouldn't happen for an averager Joe), then found innocent because he played a helluva season.

You know, though, killing the animals that don't "perform" isn't anything new. It's the way he chose to kill them that sickens me. He didn't just deliver drugs to their system, he was cruel about it. Sadistic. THAT's the wrong he did.

The wrong he did (assuming he is guilty) is breeding them to fight, and fighting them. Killing them in a cruel manner is the "emotional" no-no. If he would have just had a vet put them to sleep, would it make what he was doing any less of a crime? The bastard should be watered down and electrocuted, but not killed. Then he should be hung and suffocate, but not killed. Then he should be thrown on the ground repeadely until he does die, just like the animals he did this to. All of those involved who raise these dogs to fight should be put in a pen, hogtied with a dog mask on them, and used as bait for the very dogs they train. And each person should wait in line watching as his homies get shredded.
This form of entertainment is by far one of the cruelest. It is as cruel as the killing of bulls in an arena, the dropping of goats out of windows (they do this in Spain) and on and on. I agree on waiting until his day in court for the NFL to do anything, but if they don't, and they poo-poo this, I truly believe the backlash they and the Falcons receive will be unbelieveable.
