The media has always had blood on their hands the sad part is they don't care. Their concern is with ratings and if it costs American lives then so be it.

Here is how they sleep at night:
Like those in the legal business(lawyers, judges) doing the right thing is a moral issue, and by putting moral issues in with religion they have a nice excuse for not being required to do the right thing.

If the people that lose a family member to IED's would hold the media responsible we might see a bit of responsible reporting. But as long as they can get away with it they will continue.

The media is also overwhelming liberal...and we know how the libs feel about the war.....If we are successful in Iraq it would make Bush and the repubs look a little better...the liberal media will do anything they can to circumvent this....Cnn should change their name to the AL Jazeera Network.

When I was in Atlanta a few weeks ago, we stayed in the hotel above the CNN center. A friend told us it stands for "Communist News Network". Hadn't heard that and decided it was pretty appropriate. Anyway, had to do the tourist thing and go down to check it out - armed guards all over the place. I wonder why? We didn't give the enemies any more aid and pay money to have our pictures taken behind the CNN News desk, so we just hit the bar instead. Probably had a lot more fun that way. Anyway, I know I did!

I remember when CNN aired those videos of sniper attacks on our troops. Pure terrorist propaganda and CNN was a willing messenger.

This stuff is worst than their normal liberal biased reporting. This is stuck on stupid.

Sarge, while I have no love for CNN though for different reasons, they did not broadcast anything new, some of that stuff they reported has been shown on and off since 2005. There are declassified and unclassified pentagon documents dealing with jamming systems and Iraq out there for the world to see.

Classified or not the media doesn’t have to broadcast it and make it easy. As interesting as our technology is to us civilians is we really don’t have a NEED to know.

You might recall that The New York Times doesn’t care if it’s classified, they print it anyway.

We have a need to know that something is trying to be done to overcome the potential hazard to our troops. Given there is a specific budget line for "an anti IED" taskforce that has held public hearings and testimony.

Besides, since CNN can't seem to get a story straight sometimes, who's to say it's not a planted story to give the insurgency a false sense of confidence? Draw them out and wipe them out like a bad Chuck Norris movie.

Never quite understood why the Times bothers the right so much, especially since the left is PO'd at it for not doing enough in investigating and exposig the alledged Bush administration follies. The same founding fathers that penned the 2nd amendment considered a free press vital to our continued freedom and the Times, among other media, do not routinely going around exposing state secrets.

There ya go. I do believe alot of the info is released because it is no longer classified, unless of course its leaked by a pissed off person with an agenda.
