| Ya know KC, it was never a problem down here until they re-did Beeson in front of the school. There is about a 3 inch lull in the road at the intersection of the school and the road. During a dowpour this fills up and causes a lake, which overpowers the drainage located next to my house. Since the last big rain I ran a snake through my sytem which apparently helped since nothing happened this time. As for the insurance, I was mistaken in that my coverage if I get the sewer backup coverage, does cover any damage if my sewer floods regardless. My current insurance only covers damage if it is caused by water not coming up from the main sewer line. A blocked toilet or sink is covered. I was told that once rain hits the ground it is considered a flood. If I left my window open, and rain came through the window, and caused damage, then that is covered. Once it hits the ground, then it is not.

| That's right - stupidity ain't covered! Ya gotta close them winders!!! J/K! That isn't right, though, and you can't be the only affected one. Make the city DO something. That should never have been left like that. Where's the City Engineer?
