From what I've seen, having been in on the choice of medical plans for our office the last 2 years: a combination of savings plan and ordinary health insurance is best. We have a fairly high deductible for surgical hospital stays, better than average drug cost programs and a health spending account availability. The company actually pays a portion of deductible to us in health spending account deposits. Kinda like helping the less than smart folks that don't know how to save. The high deductible made our health plan more affordable (not as "affordable" as we would have liked) and the health savings plan helped folks on their taxes. They didn't fully appreciate that, I have to admit. People are having to be pretty creative with their health coverage needs nowadays. It's so hard to arm yourself with enough information. So much easier to depend on somebody else to do it.

Did you read the blurb at the bottom...in response to so and so on Rush Limbaugh...lol. I would guess this is a liberal again predicting doom and gloom for America. Come on you can do better than that. Why don't you post Algore's video on global warming also....The Dems like to paint doom and gloom for the U.S. cause it makes the current admin look bad. Do YOU think the $ is going to collapse anytime soon?

The guy lost me when he starting talking about if our economy collapses that the rest of the world would become more prosperous. His premise is that we would stop consuming and leave more for others thereby allowing them to prosper. I disagree.

That is the static economy theory that the pie is a fixed size and if we took a smaller piece it would leave more for others. The reality is a dynamic economy where the pie is continually getting larger. We are not sucking the life out of other countries. With our consumption of goods from all over the world we are pumping up the economies of those other countries. It we were to collapse their economies would suffer along with ours.
