Army you're trying to make it almost impossible...you're original challenge was to find a site from the other end of the spectrum that spewed hate. You specifically told jeezeweeze that there are NONE. Well the KKK is one, but since it doesn't have as many members as moveon it doesn't count. Come on dude. To tell the truth, we probably won't find a specific website that has the numbers that moveon does. You want to know why, cause the Bush administration is in the drivers seat RIGHT NOW. If the clinton administration was in power i guarantee the republican websites would clearly outweigh the democratic ones.

And yes highway byrd was a member of the klan but strom thurmond was a racist too. I don't care about what side of the aisle these guys sit on,like a lot of people here do. Political parties just clutter everything and although they formed out of necessity, seems like today it's tough to get anything done when it's an "us vs. them" kind of platform

Moveon.org is not some blog....A blog is nothing more than a web log of your thoughts. Blogs are not websites backed by millions and millions of dollars. Most web logs don't have the funding to take our a full page advertisement in a New York Paper.

Allow me to add to that. MoveOn and Daily Kos are political action committees because they are pouring millions into the political process. They buy full page ads and hold conferences where candidates show up hoping to gain support.

Ann Coulter and the KKK are not political action committees pouring millions into the system and we don’t see candidates sucking up to either one.

They didn’t meet much resistance when they were bombing embassies and the USS Cole when a Democrat was in charge.

It's a darn good thing the Soviets didn't have the same philosophy when we were arming and training what became the Taliban. For that matter it's a good Unlike the alledged Iranian government supplying of weapons, we overtly provided the mujhadeen weapons that killed Russians. Darn good thing they didn't decide to unleash the nukes in retaliation.

The little pipsqueak in Iran only became relevant on the world stage when Bush made him relevant. In the incompetence typical of the Bush administration, there was widely reported covert help from Iran in the initial "war" on terror as it applied to Afganistan until the "Axis of Evil" speech.

The currrent administration, it's previous leadership in the pentagon, a do nothing republican majority congress, and the subsequent play dead democratic congress,have responsiblity for more the blood and maiming of our troops on their hands, and yet they keep getting a pass.

Carter served this nation in the military and as President. His election may have been a fluke and history will question his effectiveness in the job for generations to come but he served and served vallantly. His methods may be unorthodox to some but he is anything but a traitor. But then again, isn't that the republican way? Max Clelland, John Kerry, anyone in the military who dares to question Bush is branded as unpatriotic and harming the troops. There's a big difference between newspaper ads questioning a general's honesty and telling lies about someone's service.

And BTW, moveon is as independent of the democrats as Coulter is of the republicans.

And I keep telling myself I'm going to ignore these threads. Sheesh.
