don't hold it to just the military...anyone who questions Bush is a traitor.

Trying to get back on topic, here’s a clip of Ahmadinejad claiming there are no gays in Iran. Yeah, right. He has them executed.

I think this is the only time he was booed.

If the moderator would have keep up the pressure I think we would have seen Ahmadinejad tell so many lies that he'd have become so transparent everyone would see him for what he is. Or he would have lost his composure and started speaking the truth.

Mike I didn't mean to diminish all federal jobs, I was referring to the CEO'S of the feds. Hell I worked for county government, and had great benefits and a great job. No complaints here. I am really surprised tho re/ your benefits. I thought federal would have better, than a county.

I really think everyone understands the danger we are in because of open borders, unprotected goods shipped without inspection. Banned in USA items, that cause health problems. Too many things to even get started with a list.

Doesn't it upset you that this far into the 9/11 tragedy, we still have open borders, that our government still wont listen to the people ? We are in danger here because there are not enough being done at our borders or ports . That things are being ignored because of a pro illegal immigrant president and a congress with no voting power.

The Billions of dollars spent on the war,OVER THERE, could be spent for our defense OVER HERE. We could beef up our military, beef up our inspectors, border patrol on and on.

And is anyone paying attention to this ?

Blackwater USA - About Us
I have a gut feeling that this bunch is getting alot more pay then our military. This is one of those things that make me go hummmmmmmmmm?

I don't know what the taxpayers pay for this contract. You know it has to be a government contract. Isn't it a slap in the face of our troops ? I haven't researched to find out what their individual pay is. And I wonder, do they have better equipment or body armor, since they do protect the diplomats...... I had no clue about this. I have heard that contractors that go over there, get around $100,000.00 for 1 year. This comes from a friend of my daughter who is there now driving heavy equipment.

Well, why are our troops less valuable ? If the pay was that for the military. Then Army wouldn't have time to play on the puter at work. There would be a never ending line at his door.....tee hee hee, had to say that .....sorry

Army and Hwy think I am just a dweeb for not supporting the war. I DON'T SUPPORT THIS WAR OK ? OUR TROOPS ARE BEING SCREWED. In more ways than one.

Ok, now if this private company wants to contract out mercenaries , fine with me. There are more of them on the ground than military troops ??? WTF, are diplomats more important the the local citizens...????? Is that LEFT WING propaganda????? If it is true ( who knows the truth anymore) Then bring our troops home to protect our interests here.

Even if our president wanted to close down the border the Liberal ran Congress would say HELL NO. Across America Conservative lead towns are trying to enact their own policies towards illegals. Do you think Liberals are the poster children for closing the borders? Look at the biggest sanctuary cities...they are the most liberal cities in America. If you want anything done about immigration you have to look towards the Repub party...(Not Bush though...he's sold us out)

or we could use those billons cleaning up the aftermath of a dirty bomb set off on our soil or something worse because we pulled our troops out too soon and let the terrorists have their way. I don't expect you to have the forsight to see this. [/quote]

I'm tired of hearing the "bring the troops home" rhetoric. You know what the reality is? The troops are not coming home any time soon. Not under Bush and not even under Klinton if she is elected. The reality is that we are BUILDING MILITARY BASES IN IRAQ and they have to be manned by..U.S. TROOPS. We will have troops there for a LONGGGGG time just like we do in Korea, Germany and elsewhere. They may change their role on the ground as time passes but they are NOT coming home enmasse.

On the contrary...All of our leaders should be questioned and held accountable for their actions. That is what good leaders do. Bush has admitted mistakes and mistakes will be made. Too bad all presidents can't take responsibility for their actions. (I did NOT have sexual relations with that girl). I question Bush and a variety of things including immigration and the running of the Iraq war. Everyone thinks they have the answer or knows a better way. The truth is that there is probably no.."good way" to run a war. There is only trial and error and learning from the errors. What's happening on the ground is evolving daily and so is the way our troops fight. What you don't understand about war is that you draw up a plan and as soon as the first bullet flies that plan is outdated and has to be changed constantly. Our soldiers and leaders are great at adapting to change. Too bad our media isn't. As far as the traitor thing goes...it's good to question your leaders...even during war time but when other leaders of our Congress go in front of our enemies and publicly criticize our policies and methods then that give's motivation to the enemy.

But Army
Wasn't there a Republican Congress from 9/11 till last year ? I mean why did there have to be an outcry from the citizens of this country in reference to the selling of the ports to Terrorists nations, and the outcry when it was finely revealed to most Americans that immigration laws were being ignored, after the marches demanding the same rights as citizens.

I think we need to have a third party so we have something else to choose from. I don't think it would compromise the Constitution, would it ?

I know you will say we have the Independent Party, but do we really ? We are so hung up in the old ways of Government that an Independent is just spinning their wheels. I don't know, its just so frustrating .

We have several "3rd Parties" There is the Socialist Party, The Green Party, Independent Party, Communist Party, etc etc but they don't get the money to be able to compete. That sucks

WHAT?!?!

Iran is producing weapons for and providing training to insurgents who then attack and kill US Forces. This is being done with the full knowledge and cooperation of the Iranian gov't. There is evidence, I've seen it, but I am privy to information that I cannot disclose, and this would be a perfect example. BTW, here's some interesting reading for you.
Evidence of Iran-Shiite arms link cited by U.S. - International Herald Tribune

And yeah, we outfitted the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan with the tools and training to kill soviet forces. But why did they go into Afghanistan? For the good of the Afghani people? Did they build schools? Did they repair vital infrastructure? Did they attempt to train and spends billions to equip the Afghan security forces? I'm thinking not. Oh, and not all of the guys we trained and equipped became Taliban. Some were better than that.
Taliban Ahmad Shah Masoud

But for you to infer that Iran is NOT involved in the killing of American troops is just wrong. In the past month my Battalion has lost 4 people to these Iranian weapons, 2 others were severely injured, one a triple amputee, the other a double amputee. Don't think for a minute we don't know who's behind it.
