Maybe Garth just doesn't want to rip us off like all the other performers do?? I say, paying alot of money for all of the aggravation, just isn't worth it to me anymore, either. Same way with professional sports. Last Pro game I went to, after paying $20 to park, $100 each for tickets, and $25 for a couple of drinks and a hot dog; then putting up with people standing in my view, spilling beer all over me, climbing over me all day, and all the "rude dogs", I decided my TV and my nice quiet living room with my own drinks is so much better!!

I been thinkin' - I do that from time to time, ya know....

If a person could buy Hannah Montana for $255 (on Ebay), they could sit in floor seats at Garth for just over $500 (if they traded with that rich lady). That makes the ticket brokers look a little over priced. I'm thinkin' people will be givin' away seats before long.....9 shows is a lot. Somethin' like 14,000 people per show? Come on. There have to be more tickets than people who want to go. I'm thinkin' I'd like to see a few scalpers take a bath on this one....

I just can't believe how much these scalpers are asking for tickets on E-bay.

garth 11 10, Event Tickets, Music Memorabilia items on eBay.com

Attention Bidders:
The resale of tickets for all sporting events held in Missouri is restricted by Missouri state law. The resale price of these tickets cannot be greater than the face value printed on the ticket.
Any Buy It Now price associated with such tickets offered by the seller cannot exceeds face value. In addition, the seller must end the auction early if and when the bid amount reaches the face value of the ticket(s) listed in this auction.

I hope these guys take one the shorts!!!

Don't say it lurker...just keep it to yourself! LOL

Some are getting around it by giving the tickets 'free' with the purchase of a CD or picture or something. Then again, there are comments that the law doesn't apply to concerts, only sporting events. Doesn't really matter - the law expires sometime in November anyway. Somehow they think it will force the prices down. I don't get that, but whatever.

The ticket brokers make a fortune off of tickets. There is a broker at Oak Park Mall that sells tickets to EVERYTHING. I have bought Chefs tickets from him a couple of times as a last resort. He has a TON of connections and has people that buy tickets and such for him then he resells them at A HUGE mark up. Bet he's hurting with the Chefs this year though...lol I gave away two KU -K STATE lower level tickets for the game...I'm sure I could have sold them because it was sold out.
