God Almighty Damn !

You know, for all the good that our troops have done and died and got maimed for. THIS BULLSHIT wipes it out.

The STATE DEPARTMENT HIRE THESE FUC*ING TRIGGER HAPPY GOONS WITH TAX PAYERS MONEY, and THEY ARE NOT HELD ACCOUNTABLE, and I believe IT IS DANGEROUS AS HELL FOR OUR TROOPS, BECAUSE THE LOCALS OVER THERE JUST SEE AMERICANS AND DON'T REALIZE THE DIFFERENCE.

IS ANYONE ELSE BESIDES ME, UPSET BY THIS ?

It seems like once upon a time we had a much bigger military and didn’t have to contract so much stuff out.

But I’ll defer judgment on that theory to Army.

If your gonna declare war, then initiate a draft. Because if Iran should decide they want to take on America, then what ?

Anyone ??

The Army and military contracts a lot of things out...out sources I suppose because they don't have the people. It's cheaper in the long run to hire security or whatever on the ground than to train several hundred if not a few thousand MP's to do the job. The minimum training for an MP is 5 years. So you have to pay for training, family benefits etc for a soldier for 5 years when you may need them only a couple of years. If they hire private companies they can get people on the ground ASAP. There are TONS of civilians in Iraq assisting the military from transportation to construction to security. This is not a bad idea. I guess these people just may have made not such a great decision. People are faced with life and death decisions all the time and unfortunately some make the wrong decisions. It happens in the military too.

JW, if you want to be upset about all that our troops have died for and been maimed for then be upset about Harry Reid standing up and saying we have lost the war. Be upset about a certain party wanting to defund the soldiers...THAT is BULLSHIT and should PISS YOU OFF. Set your priorities woman...lol

After all our troops have been through this is what also pissed me off, the unit the local National Guard was attached to in MN, Red Bulls, have been told that they was actually 1 day short of there tour, so they don't get there education funding, so I say the government can kiss my ass about this whole war. Bring the boys home and send our sorry leaders over. Bill Young

ARMY. I am gonna say this about that. The Democrats were voted in last November because the American people wish this FU*KED UP WAR TO END. There are a whole lot of Republicans that feel the same.

I will tell you what is BULLSHIT for you or anyone else to LIE and say the Democrats want to defund the troops. That dog don't hunt no more.

TAX PAYERS WANT TO DEFUND THE FU*KING WAR, NOT THE TROOPS BECAUSE YOUR BRAIN DEAD PRESIDENT DOES NOT GIVE A HAIRY RATS ASS ABOUT ANYONE OTHER THAN HIS FU*KING CRONIES, AND THEIR PROFITS !!! Not to mention the corruption of the Iraq government and their squeezing us. arrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

THAT GOES BEHOND BULL SHIT AND MAKES IT WHALE SHIT

I looked at this MANY times over and could not find all the Republicans that "feel the same way" as you put it and voted to defund the troops in Iraq. Perhaps you and your hunting dog could enlighten me a bit please.....

8. If you were a member of Congress, would you vote for continued funding of
the Iraq war or would you vote against funding the war altogether to try to
force a withdrawal?
For Against (Don’t know)

27-28 Feb 07 FOR AGAINST DON"T KNOW
ALL 45% 46 9
Democrats 19% 72 9
Republicans 82% 15 3
Independents 44% 40 16

*Wording: Regardless of how you would vote on sending more troops to Iraq … would you vote to continue funding the current level of U.S. troops in Iraq or would you vote against funding the war altogether to try to force a troop withdrawal?

When you say "the American people want this F**ked up war to stop" what you really mean is the Dems...but you have to realize America is also represented by Republicans who overwhelming want to support the funding of the troops and Independents who are about split. If you look at the total it's pretty even down the middle.
