As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 612 people, 231 households, and 184 families residing in the town. The population density was 75.3/km˛ (194.7/mi˛). There were 253 housing units at an average density of 31.1/km˛ (80.5/mi˛). The racial makeup of the town was 99.51% White, and 0.49% from two or more races. 0.33% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. | Dodge City to Garden City??? Then if you want to drive to Garden City it is only 12.3 miles and 20 min. away!! But since it IS Alabama..... you have to drive East to get there.  |

| We were heading down around in alabama and saw the dodge city exit and then just a while down the road saw the garden city exit. It made for a comical 2 minutes
