| It would really be nice if the public could be told how much the officers in Dodge city really do. You in Dodge City only here what the officers don't do or what the do wrong. This is such a negative town towards law enforcement. But thanks for the good news officers.     |

| As for the disposition of these cases, I havent a clue. The one juvenile that my shift arrested for the tagging, he was broght to the PD, photoed, fingerprinted, spoke with juvenile intake and released to his guardian. Charges were requested and sent to the CAs office for prosecution. The 14 or so from the house were charged for offenses ranging from drugs, alcohol to warrants. Unless the charges are drug related, the juveniles were released to parents or guardians. Adults, depending on the charge, were either arrested or cited and released. Sorry I can't answer you question any better then that. Usually, juveniles are released to parent or guardians in cases that are not felony, so yes, the offender/s can be back out again the next day. Im sorry to say that gang members are becoming domestically, what our servicemen are dealing with internationally. I didn't respond since, for us (PD), this type of thing is a weekly occurance. My appologies if it seemed like I was ignoring you, but if you had to deal with this week end and week out, it wouldn't be as big for you either. Just to let you know, I only write to Dodgeboard when I have firsthand knowledge of the incident (PDwise). If I don't know all the facts I will skip posting details. P158

| I appreciate the information. As it may be a weekly occurance for you it would just be nice to know what happens to the sorry MF's that you bust your ass to arrest. I know you probably don't have the time to do the follow ups. Do you ever arrest some of the same people over and over and over?

| Absolutely. We know many on sight and by name/date of birth. We know what vehicle they drive, where they live and who they hang out with. We know the ones that will run on us and the ones that will possibly have drugs or weapons. Its alot like when I was with the USBP in south Texas (but on a smaller scale). We would sometimes (rare occasions, but it did happen) apprehend the same illegal 2-3 times per day. P158
