Witch Hunt: Need some help

You all might be familiar with my parents house on 2nd avenue that is decorated for every holiday. Well seems some jerks have stolen their display for Halloween. Not once but twice in the last 2 days. They are talking about giving up this year and not turning on the lights.

My folks have been doing this Halloween decoration for 30 years. The way I understand it is some of the decorations were stolen Tuesday night and they replaced them only to have them all stolen last night. There were 3 Witches, 2 Buzzards a cauldron and painted pumpkins and lighted balls. All of this she builds her self over the summer.

This is just plain sad. My folks had put together 552 bags of candy in anticipation of the number of kids that would visits. The put together 400 last year and ran out. They have spent over $200 in candy alone only to have these people ruin it for everyone.

If anyone has any information on who might be involved I would appreciate the tip as well as my folks.

Your parents house is always tops in decorating and being in the season.
I hope you find the 'trash' that stole the decorations. If you do...I think there should be a real cauldron in the front yard with them in it!!!!
I used to live just a couple of blocks from your folks and have worked with your Dad a lot. Good people.

I drove by and seen her decorations. I can't wait until her Xmas decorations are up and hopefully I get to go in and see her gingerbread house again. There is no better.

I say we have her put the decor back up then just sit there for the night waiting for the pricks to come by.

Ya it really pisses me off. My parents go to a lot of time and trouble trying to make the holidays a little brighter for everyone. Especially the kids.

The trouble with the "law" nowadays, is that you would be the one to get arrested!! Seems like the "victims" have no right, but the "criminals" rights are always "violated"!!

Sorry to hear about this happening to your folks, Detector! They always have a great display. I truly cannot understand people in this day and age???
