| KSH Supt Resigning Superintendent of home for soldiers will resign
The superintendent of the Kansas Soldiers' Home has announced his resignation, effective Dec. 1.
Jack Fowler, chairman of the Kansas Commission on Veterans' Affairs, confirmed that Superintendent Bill Ramsey will be leaving his post.
Fowler declined to elaborate on the resignation.
Ramsey referred calls to state officials, and a spokeswoman for a special task force appointed by Gov. Kathleen Sebelius to look into conditions at the Soldiers' Home could not be reached Tuesday for comment. |
