Remember What They Predicted?

Do you remember what the "global-warming alarmists" predicted for us at the beginning of the Hurricane Season? They said that because of global warming that we would have an abundance of hurricanes. Here are the final results....

Just before the season started on June 1, the nationally prominent Gray-Klotzbach team at Colorado State University predicted that 17 named storms would grow into nine hurricanes, five of which would be particularly intense, with winds above 110 mph.

A different team at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicted 13 to 17 named storms, seven to 10 hurricanes and three to five intense hurricanes.

The actual results for the 2007 season: 14 named storms, five hurricanes, two intense hurricanes

Both intense hurricanes missed the U.S. and made landfall in Mexico.

That is just the stock I give to the global warming idiots. Now we are trying to continue to brainwash people into thinking the sky is falling if we don't change. Don't get me wrong, as I do feel that some of these changes are good. What I have a problem is that the evidence for change is not there and some of the changes are unwarranted.

I felt the same things as I worked on wind submissions to my wind insurance carriers for properties on the east coast. All the underwriters were stewing and fretting about it being such a bad season.....so they raised the rates. Again. Then there were no storms. Ya think they'll reduce the rates now? Huh uh. Ain't happenin'. I'm waiting for one of them to come answer my phone for a day or so.......

I heard on the radio today about how the people that name tropical storms were actually naming "sub tropical storms" as tropical storms in order to keep the count up so they wouldn't look so bad.

Guessing the weather is like guessing the sex of a baby still in the womb, there is no amount of science that can tell what the weather will bring, its all BS I say.

Did anybody watch the Al Gore Movie.....he said the world is coming to an end, so everybody stick your head between your legs and kiss your a** goodbye.

I was looking at weather pages too. One shows the high temp. on Sat. at 57 degrees, another shows the high temp on Sat. at 68 degrees. Just another indicator that they can't predict what the weather is going to do tomorrow let alone what the weather and the polar ice is going to do and all that other BS they say is going to happen in the next few decades.....

The weather does what it does and climate change is weather.

Climate change is weather. It has has been changing since the earth has been here, it changed before humans were on it, it will change after we have been long gone. Humans, in the big scheme of things can't and don't do much that could change the weather. If you think we do, then you have a pretty big opinion of the human race in the whole scheme of the universe.
