No one can buy America faster than the Arab Nations and China - It's not about being fearful of anyone it's about having the common sense to not "be for sale" in the first place. Again - follow the money - the road America is going down is scary to say the least but I'm sure we will all be OK in the end. What else is there to do but have faith that it will be fine?

Having faith is what got us to where we are now....What we NEED to do is vote out the fools that lead us to where we are now.

I'm more terrified of the politicians selling us out. They ar on both sides of the isle. Truth is - you can vote all you want but when it gets right down to it........ hell ya gotta be in the money circle to even run for office - that's why so many feel it's just a waste of time anyhow. Ever seen the voter turn out for some places? It's easy to say "you should vote" but the truth is.............. what's to vote for???? I vote because I spent my time with Uncle Sam - it's my right that I burned years of my life for. Hell - I'm always voting but the choices sure don't rev my motor!

Problem is there are plenty of "legal" bangers. They didn't invent gang violence in America - they just added to the problem already here. No elected politician running on Immigration Reform is gonna solve the problem. That reminds me of Nancy and Just Say No! It's a good way to market oneself tho.

And Spanish would still be spoken a lot -- gee, they allow Italians in the East Coast to still speak Italian years after they got here for cheap jobs, and you even hear Chinese in ChinaTowns around the country. Shame, why don't they speak English.......

Everybody else answered the first part of your post much better than I could, so I will answer this part.

It doesn't matter if they speak whatever language they want, what matters is making it so WE have to speak it to communicate with THEM. You assume that it is our responsibility to communicate. Well, it isn't. What makes it even worse is even though things are printed in Spanish, most of them can't read anyway so it is a waste.

You are so right there Dutchie!!! I see it everyday - many of these folks never went beyond 6th grade I am told. That is what the rich country of Mexico gives to kids to prepare them for life - any school beyond there is bought - according to many of the immigrants (illegal) that I serve everyday in my clinics. The kids I think really do want to be here for the opportunities - they seem to get so sidetracked by thier own culture into the seedy side of life - the gangs, the "I don't need an education to make a quick buck" mentality. It's just a very sad thing going on not only here but in Mexico as well. Mexico is one of the richest if not the richest Latin country.

They just need to do it the legal way - then if they break the law they won't be able to slither back to the river............... they can sit in juvie and graduate to the chain like the rest of our bangers.
