While you two are “discussing” this I’d like to point out that the study in the first post was about birth rates. You really need to have information about pregnancy and abortion rates to get a clearer picture.

Good luck getting any information out of Planned Parenthood to do an accurate study.

It’s possible but without knowing the pregnancy and abortion rates there is no way to really tell. But yeah, 100 less abortions = 100 more births with no change in the number of pregnancies.

You need to look at a lot of politically incorrect things like race and legal status also to get the big picture. But it’s much easier to just be shallow and blame something like abstinence programs because they don’t fit your utopian agenda.

I think you hit the nail on the head there. So many statistics are politically motivated and based to get a certain recation from the public.
