Dr Frye Arrested on "suspicion" of felony battery..

I'm not saying he's guilty. I was basically saying that no someone did not just come into his house and start a fight with him. Yeah I agree, something should have happened to the boyfriend if he started the fight but if he wasn't physical then there's nothing that can be done to him. If Dr. Frye threw the first punch then of course the charges will be brought on him.

So what was the deal with the 1st case? Was he just defending himself by beating the crap out of his girlfriend?

I wasn't there. I don't know. My feeling is, let it (the truth) come out in court and let a jury decide.

Everybody must remember that we live in America. In America the law says you are innocent until proven guilty. There are a lot of you here that have already judged him as guilty without knowing all the facts and without it being presented to a jury of his peers. I say give him the benefit of the doubt and let the facts come out in court and let a jury decide if he is guilty or not. Guilt or innocence isn't something that the members of Dodgeboard or the citizens of Dodge City should decide without sitting in a courtroom and hearing/seeing all the facts in the case as presented by both sides.

I don't get it! What is that supposed to mean? I know that George Castanza was a character in Seinfeld played by Jason Alexander, but I didn't really get into the show, so I have no idea what that quote means.

Also, why would I take offense to a quote from a fictional TV character?

Actually, Hoarsie - and I'm not trying to be neg here - if he's found guilty of assault, can't the med board take his license? Then it doesn't matter WHERE he goes - he can't practice medicine until his license is restored. I wish him all the luck in the world, but if he's been arrested, he must have done something not right and unfortunately, he's held to a higher standard. Just because he's been accused, I'm not sure I'd want him as my doctor and not because I think he'd do anything in the office. I just wouldn't want my insurance money going to somebody that was even a bit unstable.
