Sarocha's Thai Restaurant

Thai food lovers should be aware that Sarocha's posted menu prices are not what you will be charged at time of check-out. I'm not sure if this practice is "legal", but after choosing 3 items from the menu, $4.99/$5.99/$5.99 we were charged $6.99/$7.99/$7.99 at time of check-out. When we "questioned" our bill we were told by the male register clerk that "prices" are subject to change without notice", and he directed my attention to a rather small box on the last page of the menu. Have other diners experienced this? I told him he should cover up his "old prices" or at least inform the customer of a price change at time of ordering. Needless to say, the whole thing smelled like a "scam" on un-suspecting customers, and I'll never patronize that place again. Not to mention.......like so many other foreign restaurants in town......he never rang up our charges on his register. I'm sure he will pay the appropriate sales tax........from memory.
Who do you report suspicions of "tax evasion" too anyway? Thanks for listening .

I was really excited to eat there last year since I love Thai food but heavens, it wasn't very good. I hope for their prices that their food has improved.

I went 1 time and wasn't impressed with the food or the cleanliness. I hate walking through a restaraunt and having my feet stick to the floor because it's sticky. I haven't been back since then! I usually give 2 times before I quit going but I just wasn't impressed..

Awhile back, there was folks from all over the world posting here about how great that joint is/was.

What happened?

I quit checking their barrel a few seasons ago.
