If it's not a legal sign I'm going to exercise my legal right to carry. The main thing is COCEALED. If someone comes in waving a gun in the owner's face I'm not going to bother with it. If they point it at me, I'm going to open BIG holes in them.

If the owner wants to test the statute I have no problem with that.

What If:.....

What if you were concealed carry, and disobeyed the sign on a business and walked in with your firearm?

What if there was a crazy, depressed, loner who decided to make himself famous that walked in later and started shooting?

What if you (with the concealed weapon) shot and killed/disabled the crazy shooting person and saved many, many lives?

Would you then lose your permit to carry concealed weapon? Would you be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law?

What If.......

If you should shoot someone, life as you know it will be very different.

If you are still standing, and those you love are still alive, no matter what happens, you are still ahead.

Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Unless you live in Pasadena and shoot them in the back!! I think ole John here is in some deep deep trouble. He's going to be lucky if Quanell X don't get to him before the grand jury does!!

Thanks for posting this link, TexKan. I've been catching bits and pieces of this story. I, for one, support Mr. Horn and further supported the citizens of the neighborhood for clashing with protesters.

It may seem that I am sounding coarse, but our world is changing and the LEO's can only be reactive.

Think about it: The alleged robbers were in someone's residence. They may have been shot in the back, but they were wrong being there in the first place. Secondly, Mr. Horn shouldn't have to worry about them returning to kill him so he could not identify them later. Good Job!

The DA’s office has already received threats that if they don’t convict Horn he will be killed and if they do convict he will be killed in prison.

What I heard was that the two had left the neighbor’s house as were walking toward Horn’s house when he confronted them. They had a crowbar (weapon). That’s enough to reasonably assume intent to rob and harm Mr. Horn. As for one being shot in the back, he must have turned to flee while Horn was pulling the trigger.

Also there was an undercover cop coming up the street that saw most of what happened. His testimony will carry a lot of weight. But he didn’t see fit to arrest Horn on the spot so that sounds good for Horn.

I think he got in trouble for what he said to the 911 dispatcher more than anything. Plus if he is in trouble how can they release the tape before he goes to court ?
I checked on the castle doctrine law, just recently passed in Texas
