That's cute. But I don't wanna get in on this discussion....

I saw on the History Channel a time roughly 200,000 years ago, before mans "global warming", that some earth quakes caused some methane stored in ocean floor to release. Methane turns to CO2 when it hit the atmosphere and it caused the global temperature to increase by 10 degrees in a short time.

The results was it turned locations like our present Arizona into a lush tropical rain forest. Maybe a bit of good old global warming would do Kansas some good.

They can do that through "ice coring" and analyzing the impurities. Quite an amazing project! Similar to analyzing rock layers in the earth's crust and tracing them to time periods in the evolution of the earth.
