On Greta Van Susternon or however her name is spelled they were praising her for keeping the baby and they discussed about whether she should marry him or not. WTF! How about the fact that they should remove her from Zoey101 and give her the true negative press she deserves for being arole model to 10, 11, 12 yr old CHILDREN. They sadi we shouldnt be to hard on her with everything she has gone thru in her life ( i guess havving a famous wealthy sister and making her own money that we will never make in our life times is too hard). We need to stand behind her because she is making the right decision. They never sadi she made the wrong decision is geting pregnant but the right decision for keeping it. That is how the media controls how the majority of the world should or shouldnt feel about todays news. IF they pput it in a positive light it is only telling the youth of today it is ok to do those things.

They were also saying how they had met in church and he was this great KID not a great man.

Her mother is writing a book on parenting. HAHHAHAHAHAAHAHA that wont get published I hope. MY 11 yr old was tellign me that is was disgusting that she is pregnant and she doesnt like the show anymore and she decided this on her own.

I was really shocked at her bringing it up to me and I was standing there talking to her step dad and mom and they looked surprised too.

I was really proud to hear that from her with out prodding.

My 8yr said she doesnt like the show any way so she doesnt watch it.

Do any of you read the "birth announcements" in the Globe each week? Look how many "unweds" are listed in there. In my day, this was considered VERY BAD, and it was definitely not printed in the paper or bragged about by parents and grandparents. Just another example of the loss of morals by present day society.

Being unwed and not married doesn't carry the stigma it did, but that's not the issue I'm seeing here. I'm seeing that we have a television "star" that's young and has decided to glorify her situation. Unmarried mothers don't bother me too much - most of them have chosen to be unmarried and mothers. This one bothers me - she's just too young and is displaying poor common sense to her audience - young teens.

I haven't been keeping up with the news lately so I was wondering if this was a confirmed pregnancy. I know she announced it on a talk show but didn't know if there was more news about it. I'm just wondering because it wouldn't be unlike a celebrity to pull some sort of publicity stunt like this, especially coming from the Spears family. How many things has ol' Brit done lately to grab the spotlight (shaved head, rehab, pantiless partying w/Paris, dramatic reconcile with mommie, etc). It seems pretty coincidental that the pregnancy issue popped up. "Hey everyone.....ummmmm....I'm pregnant, pay attention to me!"

Of course she can always turn around after the shock value wears off then say she had a miscarriage to bring on a wave of condolences and more media coverage.

wait isnt it illigal? Isnt the sex age 17? Like a 16 year old cant have sex w/ sombody 17+... but a 16 year old can do it with a 16 year old?

Good question. There is such a variety of state statutes covering sex offenses that vary from state to state that I think prosecutors are often scratching their heads trying to sort it out. The possibilities are endless....he's 19, she's 16, did they have sex in California but conceived in another state, which state law applies, should the 16 be considered a ward of the state if living with a 19 year old and unmarried? Definately a headache.
