I just hate the selective process in the media, lets take her sister britney for a minute...........

She obvious has some deep seeded issues and is acting it out and, now for the record I could careless, but the media outlets crucified her for doing the things she has done and bringing to light all the wrong CHOICES she is making. I tink that it is a justified crucification, throw it in their faces all the wrong CHOICES they are making and maybe they will see for themselves and make a decision to turn things around for herself now..........

Her younger 16 yr old sister is pregnant froma 19 yr old man and the media outlets have praised her decision to keep the child, hell yeah she should keep the baby but she should aslo be chastised for the decisions she is making about her life. YOU figure she would have taken a step back and looked at what is going on around her, her sister losing her kids and failing drug tests and refusing to show up for court hearings, being booed off stage, gets adivorce and now there is another RUMOR of her being pregnant again. Her mother is writiing a book about being a parent and you figure that if she is old enough to have sex without a condom she would have taken a look at all the noise around her and see what was going on.

This double standard makes me sick, DUIs but released from jail, applauding young girls for being pregnant, in and out of treatment centers, hit and runs and they make it all ok in the eyes of the youth today they let you know that.......

Hillary Duff had been with the drummer or singer of one of those punk bands either good charlotte or sum41 since she was 15 and he was in his 20s and left her for a slightly older Olsen girl

I can go on and on but i think im getting the point across that in hollywierd everything is ok as long as the are making money and putting people in the seats..........as long as you smile for the camera everything you do is golden in their eyes

Butif we the lower class do the exact same thing their will be no early release from jail we would lose our jobs for being caught doing drugs we would be put in prison for having sex with a16yr old girl and becharged with something for dating a 15yr old

But it’s Christmas and I’m going to find something nice to say about that train wreck in progress Britney. She has run over some photographer’s foot I think about twice now. I say good for her. If someone is so stupid as to stand in front of a car when the driver is trying to drive off they deserve to get run over.

That’s the only thing I can think of where I’m on her side.

BTW, I heard the mother’s book deal was cancelled.

Yeah the paparazzi is a whole other story they get what they deserve for putting themselves out there in the way pushing and shoving and forcing the celebs to dart off into traffic and run over feet BUT if you put yourself out there to be in those positions then you have to expect that from vultures such as the paparazzi.

Imnot saying stay home and never come out but that is the price they are going to pay for being famous whether we or them like it or not.

I hope the book got cancelled. Awesome.

I'm not sticking up for her at all, but the papparazi is relentless and could drive anyone to the edge. They get paid big bucks for a picture by these magazines and media outlets, so they go to any extremes to take photos. How many sticky situations or even deaths have they caused. I could never be famous because I would probably pop a few of them.

On the other hand, big money causes a lot of problems. Drugs, sex, divorces, alcohol abuse. MOst of these celebs are too young to handle it. In fact, even some of the older ones can't handle it either. To be able to afford anything you want, to take away the struggles of life, leads to problems of its own.

We almost traumatize celebrities with our adoration. On one hand, I feel angry at the Nicole Richie's and the Brittney's of the world for the example they're setting for our young people. On the other hand, they are young and somebody should have taken them under their wing and explained the pitfalls of celebrity-hood. 'Course, which one of them would have listened?

I agree with mit as well - they don't have the same struggles most of us face - money, jobs, children. Those are all things that help us grow, whether we like it or not. The train wreck celebrities I see aren't growing up that way. So they stay forever children.

Hiya. Firstly, they have said now that he is 18. In Louisiana "where Spears lives, it is a misdemeanor for someone age 17 to 19 to have consensual sex with someone age 15 to 17 if the difference between their ages is more than two years." Not that it makes it much better but it isn't illegal.
