| If she gets the kind of service and rediculous bills from this hospital that I get, maybe she was just "protesting"!! ![]() |

| Humana or whatever they're called now isn't very popular in Johnson County, either. But I will say this....they were the first ones to open a trauma center. The nurse shortage on the floor is deplorable. The nurses can't give anyone the attention they need - and just can't do their jobs. Yep - ya can't leave one of these hospitals without signing your life away if you don't have insurance!

| I think the permanent nurses at most hospitals are the genuine deal. Personally, I think all hospitals could improve patient care by eliminating the intern rotations. Lets face it its no fun be in the hospital and no one wants to be there. I'm not really sure why they do the internship thing I'm guessing they have their reasons, but when you've got patients, often at the worst times in their lives, stuck in a public place they're just not in the best of spirits. I don't claim to know how the rotation system works but it seems to be that nurses in training are required to spend time at varies facilities as part of their internship. In my opinion, while it seems to work OK for the emergency services such as the ER, its not so good for nurses. If you know your only there for a short time you tend not to be as concerned about performance as you would be if you knew your job depended on it. You put nurses that are away from their families often in a temporary resident in with patients that aren't exactly at their best, and you have the mix for a bad experience. I can say the hospital is very committed to patient satisfaction although it may not always seem that way. Thats why there is a 800 number that you can, and are encouraged to call, to voice concerns/complaints/praises. More often than not these problems are never brought to the attention of administration so that they can be addressed.

| Nice, D - spoken like a true employee!!! Hospitals are never fun - you only go for one reason or the other; either you're about to give birth or you're sick. And it sure ain't the Ritz!

| wrong... Apparently SunnyD your RELIABLE source is not very reliable. Your information is way off. When you charge someone criminally, you have to have alittle something called INTENT. SHe abviously needed mental help, and that what she received. The situation was handled properly by all parties. And no, she was not a sniper. Hope that helps.:green:
