Money? What a laugh. They might pay $50 for a hammer, and our legislators spend a couple of months a year in their offices for big bucks and a fat retirement, but they don't pay well if you're in the rank-and-file. Hubby works at the General Services Admin here in KC - about $15,000 less than what he was making in the private sector. And the benefits (health ins, 401K) aren't all that great. The only thing they have going for them that the rest of us don't have is job security. From what hubby says, it's hard to fire even if you have good reason. Yeah, I wish there was money there.....

I thought Fed Air marshalls were law enforcement with a bach degree in law enforce.......not true?

I have a friend that works for FBI in Houston - he has Bach in sumthin but makes really good money. I thought Fed Marshalls were like part of FBI gang.

Also have friend that runs Fed Security at Bush Intercontennetal.....he also has degree in law enforcement and was a cop as well - he makes good money.....are these guys not under the same umbrella?

I could be very confused - course usually am.........
