| What is odd is that for roughly the same money the city could have refurbished the existing evaporation ponds. Now they would spend even more to pump the lake dry and run the risk of overflow during another big runoff. And Banyon, please don’t confuse the wishes of the citizens with the actions of the city officials. We all know that those are not always one and the same.

| I am sure that they would have had to have this approved by the KDHE first. And personally, I don't think it could have been approved unless certain things had been put into place to properly contain and control the wastewater. |
