NOW you're talking about a real solution. Take a group of say... 400 - 500 illegals...imagine the first wave of say..100 heading out across the glorious desert landscape and then BOOM...mines start going off everywhere resulting in various amounts of carnage and the buzzards eating good that day. I'm thinking common sense would kick in for at least HALF of the second wave and they would decide between being "blown up buzzard chow" and staying put....that maybe Mexico wasn't such a bad place to be.....of course this would never happen because we are WAY TO NICE and our security is not that important...YET>

Okay, I emailed both Senators and our Representative for this district. I have posted the replies from the Senators, if not this thread another one. Today I got a call from Rep. Jerry Moran's aide in his office, I was informed of the passage in the house of H.R. 4437{edited}, and was told that there were about 23 different amendments in that bill, from constructing a wall on the border, to employers having to do a better job of verifying, to helping with giving local law enforcement more power to pick up and hold illegals. I talked on the phone with the aide for about 5-6 minutes. I also asked if anything was known about how the Senate felt about the bill, and was told that the Senate was going to take a serious look at illegal immigration issues after the first of the year.

I have downed a few pints up there, and they weren't too bad!! And they have trees, and wildlife, and women, and "fresh air"!
But, as my handle states, I am Made in the USA, so would just be a visitin'!
