McCain this morning was speaking of "pork barrel spending" and how he will eliminate it.

So I have been digging

Found this site and it is informative to say the least.

Question about McCain

Wouldn't voting for McCain be a bit like asking an illegal to move into your house with you? It was, after all, called the McCain-Kennedy Immigration Reform bill where they wanted to give amnesty to all the illegals in the country!

Aint this one cute:

S. 2349: Lobbying Overhaul - Earmark Definition. Vote Number 81, 3/29/2006. By a vote of 57 to 41, the Senate agreed to a motion to table (kill) an amendment offered by Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) that would expand the definition "earmark" to include federal entities and programs. THE TAXPAYERS LOST.

Just a little researching I have discovered that I am glad Joe Biden dropped out........... and I really liked him...... another reason to dig and dig

Your right Bubba. I admit there are things I don't like about McCain. I am still undecided. If I find a bottle on the beach and rub it and a genie pops out and gives me 3 wishes. I would wish for a Presidential candidate with all the good qualities of each of the other candidates.

I would save the last 2 wishes for purely selfish reasons......LOL

He’s not high up on my preferred list.

WELP... McCain is off my radar

THE KEATING FIVE

After McCain's election to the House in 1982, he and his family made at least nine trips at Keating's expense, three of which were to Keating's Bahamas retreat. McCain did not disclose the trips (as he was required to under House rules) until the scandal broke in 1989. At that point, he paid Keating $13,433 for the flights.

I have been researching several links..... This one "splanes" it pretty well.
