Aint this one cute: S. 2349: Lobbying Overhaul - Earmark Definition. Vote Number 81, 3/29/2006. By a vote of 57 to 41, the Senate agreed to a motion to table (kill) an amendment offered by Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) that would expand the definition "earmark" to include federal entities and programs. THE TAXPAYERS LOST. Just a little researching I have discovered that I am glad Joe Biden dropped out........... and I really liked him...... another reason to dig and dig Quote:

| WELP... McCain is off my radar THE KEATING FIVE After McCain's election to the House in 1982, he and his family made at least nine trips at Keating's expense, three of which were to Keating's Bahamas retreat. McCain did not disclose the trips (as he was required to under House rules) until the scandal broke in 1989. At that point, he paid Keating $13,433 for the flights. I have been researching several links..... This one "splanes" it pretty well. Is John McCain a Crook? - Chris Suellentrop - Slate Magazine
