1st of all..he's only one guy with one opinion. What do you think wealthy people DO with all that money? They should have the same tax level as anyone else. You sound like you want to tax the wealthy to death. What income level do YOU consider to be "wealthy"? What exact is someone's "FAIR SHARE"?

Oh please, I don’t want to rehash again how a rich Democrat named Buffett made millions by exploiting the victims of oppressive high taxes. He wants high taxes for one reason, his own personal greed.

Yes, they should have the same level as everybody else. With no loopholes to make their level smaller.

I would consider that a single person with an income of $150,000 or greater to be in the wealthy category, and that would make a couple with an income of $300,000 to be considered wealthy.

You must know the political party of every person in the U.S. I had no idea that he was a democrat and I didn't and don't really care what political party he is aligned with. He is a rich, smart man that knows how the economic markets work.

Single or not...150,000 isn't rich in a lot of places. If you live in NY, Chicago or San Fran 150,000 a year will barely get you into a house...

It’s called paying attention Bubba. You are correct that Buffett knows how economic markets work. That’s how he got rich. Notice that Buffett is campaigning in favor of the estate tax (death tax) as the way to tax the rich. Buffett made billions off the backs of working folks and indirectly destroyed jobs for others by exploiting that tax. If Buffett really believed that the death tax was such a good thing he wouldn’t be giving his money to charity and avoiding it.

For anyone that wants to understand Buffett’s love affair with the estate tax follow the link.

He is also in favor of the "consumption tax" or Fair Tax. I think that is a good idea. Scrap the tax code as it is today and get taxed for how much you spend. Not how much you make and/or save.

Great idea -- tax only what is spent

Hey, great idea -- tax only what is spent -- let's see -- you make $30,000 grand a year with a family and you have to spend it all (even in Dodge City) to eat, live, pay heat, etc. so you're taxed on 100 percent of your income.

You make, say $150,000 a year (and live in Dodge City), so you only have to spend say a third of your income to eat and live, so are taxed on only 30 percent of your income. Hey, that sounds really fair -- as long as you're not a working person with family making $30,000.

Let's tax the poor a lot. That'll will help our country, right ?

I personally believe Warren Buffet to be one of the smartest people on the planet. He has taken working the market to a whole new level....he's done it well and he's giving his money away. Do you think it's just to avoid inheritance tax after he passes? Or do you really believe he's giving it away because he's amassed more than he can use and sees need in his country?

That's not how it works. Try using Google or some other search engine and be informed about what you comment on before posting something like this.
