Oh Lord

On the news tonight and this is BS...This should make a citizen want to puke !

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — About 100 people who came from Nepal to work at a north Alabama factory seemingly vanished from a pair of apartment buildings, along with a lot of furniture and appliances, and can't be located, officials said Tuesday.

The workers can earn $8 an hour working 12-hour shifts packing DVDs in boxes. Besides Nepal, Cinram has used foreign workers from Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Ukraine.

I don't know about you but I just don't believe they can't find a workforce in and around that town............

I'm sure that more than a few Army spouses and dependents from Redstone Arsenal would love to have some of those jobs....

Yeah .....$8.00 an hour ????? Hells bells when I moved to SC I started at that.
I just cannot believe it....... Course then they will say well they are hard workers.... can''t argue with that. So have we got so damn lazy that our workers can't compete........... (don't answer that)

Those wages with overtime ain't too shabby, especially if your have 2 incomes.( maybe they ain't paying overtime) That could be the hook ... These industries are getting more and more brave....

MY GOD when is this crap gonna be addressed. Makes a person want to take a trip to DC...and go POSTAL !!!!!
