Which incentives are you speaking of?

You need SS# for WIC, Medicaid and medicare. Are you speaking of free lunches?

None of these things matter because once the enforce the rules for employers (which the Dems do want to do) they will self deport. That's not strictly right sided opinion. Course when you only listen with "right" ears and not "open" ears it's very easy to be biased.

I'm just rather tired of the same old comments by the same old folks.

Republicans aren't fundamentally right because they are republicans. I have never voted democrat but looks like they will get my vote this year. It's not ALL about immigration, it's about humanity at large. Course the new profits by the oil industry didn't help!! LOL

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I love the touchy feel good !!!!! I wonder how Vince Foster would feel about Queen Hillarys and her jester Bill's 'humanity'? Or how she turned 1000 dollar investment into almost 100,000 dollars in 10 months buying 'ghost' cattle. Get real folks, wake up!!!!!

Who says Hillary is going to be the Democratic candidate. Obama currently has more delegates than her. I think it is far from over...

It's not touchy feely either - they are all politicians but overall I like what the democrats have to say. I just happen to be one of the swing voters and a very liberal conservative here lately. I believe there are many of us so I'm not exactly alone. Course wouldn't bother me much if I were.

Ahhh... thats like saying you have to be 21 to drink or 18 to smoke.

I never thought you to be such a liberal TexKan. I'm all for being humane but my family comes first. Higher crime rate, higher medical bills, higher insurance, less jobs and a lower quality of life all for people who don't give a sh!t about us. They squeeze every dollar they can out of Americans and send it back home to bring even more to America, land of the freebies.

Have you ever lived in an apartment complex with a cockroach problem? Ridding the complex is easy IF all the occupants follow a simple guideline. All it takes is one apartment to refuse to help and everyone suffers. Is that fair? These cockroaches are there only because of the free food. Take away the reason, which is a very simple cure, and the problem goes away on it's own.

If the "process" to become an alien resident or citizenship takes a long period of time, it is for good reason. Immigration wants to have them fingerprinted, photographed, and a background check conducted to ensure they are not criminals such as sex offenders, murderers, and gang members....all things that we don't need more of in the US. It does take a long time to check everything out but if we are speaking in terms of approximately a year to become an alien resident then so what. If it costs several thousand then so what....many illegals interviewed about stolen identities pay anywhere between $700 to $1500 for a set of papers not to mention several thousands for a "coyote" to smuggle them across the border. They will still be in the country illegally using a stolen identity (which belongs to a US citizen), owe thousands to a coyote, and have to hide from INS. All this to circumvent our immigration laws and become a headache for social services.

All of these protests such as the candlelight vigils for "immigrant" rights are smoke and mirrors. They constantly get immigrant (legal) vs illegal immigrant (illegal) intermixed but when they are asked about getting the two mixed, they hold up children in front of the cameras, give sob stories about INS deporting loved ones, and being fearful of law enforcement without actually giving an answer. They have public relations groups working for the immigration attorneys who make $$$ of illegals that know how to work the cameras and politics. ALL of these protests are geared to the objective of giving sweeping amnesty to the millions of illegals, not enforcing the immigration laws "just because," and shelling out billions in social programs. The politicians wanting the amnesty are not looking at the problem in terms of "human rights" but in terms of votes. A very low percentage of americans turn out to vote but if the 12 million or so illegals suddenly had voting power, they will vote for the candidate that blessed their cause.

If you think the Fed Govnmt is going to anything about the illegals, Repub or Democrat, you are wishful thinking. Welcome to the world of privacy act.

Because of this, government associations (Social Security and IRS for starters) are not ALLOWED to report knowledge of illegal aliens. Example: Person comes in because someone is using their ss number. Social Security finds the person, or persons, using the number. All they can do is report to the theif's employer that this person is not who they say they are. They cannot report them. Another example: Someone comes to get a ss number and has forged or illegal documentation and identification. Only thing that can be done is the person is refused a ss number. ALL documentation they have must be returned to them, no questions asked.
I know of 5 IRS audits done lately. Each of them involved one of the married couple to be an illegal alien. These couples have been here for 12 to 20 years and are still illegal, no papers and no documentation. The IRS cannot report that due to the privacy act.

It is going to be up to the individual states to do anything, which Oklahoma figured out.
