| Question I don't keep up with sports at all, so I don't know what congress has to do with steroid use in sports. I know the use of them is bad but the question is how is that the governments job to have hearings on it? Are there not more important issues to deal with ? Someone explain please. I am serious, I am confused on the issue

| Here's an answer I found... Because baseball is one of the few businesses with an exemption under the Sherman and Clayton Anti-Trust Acts. Without that exemption baseball could not exist as it does today. And it was Congress which granted them that exemption. Those 30 owners and their hand-picked commissioners sit up like trained seals anytime the Congress makes noise about getting a look at some of their business practices. And, with respect to the steroid scandal, those owners and commissioner were asleep at the switch. PLUS...it's a photo op for some Congressmen and a great way to waste taxpayers dollars...(which they will have more of to waste after a Democrat is in the Whitehouse.)

| Speaking of a total waste, and a text book reason there should be term limits. The 'Hero of Chappaquiddick' speaks on why he supports amnesty for those sneaking across the Rio Grande. This just may be the quote of the century!

Teddy is also a text book example of liberalism.

| I'm wondering when they are going to file "practicing medicine without a license" on that fella. Baseball should have known better.

| They had a piece on the news about this last night. HGH (Human growth hormone) has only been approved by the FDA for use in some growth disorders and sometimes AIDs patients. It has not been approved for building muscles, restoring youth, or performance enhancement. However it does all of these things. A question I have is; since Stalone and Suzanne Sommers has openly admitted to taking regular HGH injections for cosmetic purposes, why have they not been on trial? Why do their doctors get a pass? I suppose their doctors have trumped up some medical reason why they should have access to HGH. While HGH has been attributed to vitality and reversing aging, it is also linked to cancer, liver/kidney problems.
