It does not matter what an intention is, it is PERCEPTION that counts, especially when running for President. Mr's Obama has TWICE mentioned in a speech thet she has "never been proud of America during her adult life until now". When fighting you never, never give your enemy ammunition. This statement is stupid, stupid, stupid. This statement puts the race card front and center. I know, she is not running......BUT, the thing that drove people nuts about Hillary was her having so much say in what her husband did as president. Now, and if you think for one moment that Mrs. Obama is not going to be involved you are crazy, she has put herself front and center.

My question would be that if America is so bad then why are you here? What makes her proud of America right now? Why hasn't she ever been proud before? That's a pretty strong statement. Was she not proud post 9/11 ? Kind of makes you wonder???

Right wingers love America like a child loves its mother. Unconditionally. If ANYONE dares say anything negative about mom then they are stupid and bad people and they hate them for it.

Liberals love America like a trusted friend or a spouse. You both know that neither of you are perfect and once in a while you'll both do something wrong. That's when the relationship takes over, you acknowledge what's wrong and you work together to make it right.

The whole "Love it or Leave it" idea is just stupidity. It's the same problem the illegals have. They don't LOVE Mexico enough to stay and try to make it better. Instead they take off for something easier and send a few bucks south to pretend they are helping.

Kinda like giving to charity at Christmas time and telling yourself how much good you've done. Then step over the homeless the other 11 months a year and tell them to get a job.

You make a point but either way if you know things aren't perfect like w/ your spouse or trusted friend you acknowledge it behind closed doors and fix it. You don't come out on stage and bad mouth your spouse in front of the world about how jacked up she is....
