I do believe there is. Just as I know my mother sits on my shoulder as my guardian angel. She doesn't always approve of what I do or say, but she's always there. I just know it.

Hubby reacts to these kind of stories by stoically saying, "it just wasn't their time" or "it was just their time". That might be true, but I believe there's a Plan.

This particular thing happened for a reason - the man that saved the baby was there that morning for a reason. There truly is a Divine Plan. Or at least I believe there is. It keeps me from breaking co-workers' freaking necks sometimes!

me too KC, me too....withOUT a doubt..... these kinds of stories are too little offered. They make me tear up and I just know..... fate is different from devine intervention.

Honey, you need to join the triplets and make us Quads. You'd be the good sister that manages to keep the bad sisters out of trouble. Think about it - and let me or Tex Kan or Blondemoments know. Cept Blondie hasn't been around in a few days. Texie's always here. We watch each other's backs - well and sometimes the guys help too.

You're right, Highwayman. I hadn't thought of that. The whole story is just a miracle. That the mother would be brave enough to just let the baby fall, that the man standing there had the presence of mind to catch the baby and administer mouth-to-mouth. I'm sure he built up a bunch of graces in Heaven. We just don't hear these kinds of good stories often enough.

Of course we need a redhead! I'm a redhead too - well, a bottle-redhead. I went back to the natural blah brown (still coloring the gray, of course) and I'd forgotten hubby hadn't ever known me as a brunette. He didn't like it. So I went back to the red. Redheads DO have more fun!!!
