I listen to Rushhhhhhhhhhhh almost daily but what I find is he really feels he "makes a difference" - it's always scary when a talking head has to tell his audience they are the "most informed" political thinkers. It's such a joke. He also has that song and dance about how his views actually affect anything. You almost listen to him just to reaffirm how over the edge he and his loyalists are.

When FOX bought our one good talk radio sation they replaced an actual fair and balanced host with Rushhhhhhhh.............. Tooooo bad -

Poor Chris Baker(came on at 2pm) was THE fair and balanced person for Houston happenings - now they have some yahoo that used to be a city council member that like Rushhhhhh likes to hear his own voice. Bottom line is Rush sucks and so does Michael Barry - I try to listen bout once a week but it's getting harder to make it thru his grueling 3 hours of whinning and rudeness.

To remind us what harm radical thinking can do. I listen cause it's entertaining at times to hear him. I certainly don't think like him but it's good to know how crazy folks think and talk - so when you are in a conversation with them you can identify the insane from the sane. Zelots of any kind I try to avoid. Be it politics or religeon. I listen to the revialists with fire and brimstone on occasion just to refresh my memory of why I don't go to church. He has purpose for those extremists that follow him. The far far right love him - the rest of us just enjoy his entertainment value. There is room for everyone that's what our country is about.
