Clinton takes Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island.
Obama wins Vermont.

Texas is still so close I question the call with only 5% of the caucus in as I post this.

But hey, Texas is close!

She didn't take Dallas and Houston area - that went to Obama. I'm not sure how the caucus went. They both will get delagates. It's gonna be interesting in the next few weeks.

This was my first time to vote democrat and I gotta tell ya - I never saw anything like it!! Just insane to me.

Lots of folks didn't vote or got turned away cause they were in the wrong line. Had 2 women get turned away at 7pm cause they were in the caucus line, there had to be 5 others in line calling attorneys and damned if the attorney didn't show up. LOL LOL

They felt they should vote and the attorney told them........ sorry it's your responsibility to know what line you are in. It was a riot!

The vote is in however and I'm just gonna sit and watch and see if the democrats are able to keep my vote. This will be the test!

The caucus results at the moment show 37% reporting with Obama at 52% and Clinton at 48%. The vote was 51% Clinton and 48% Obama.

hey Thanks!! I usually just wait till I get home and watch the election kings all night. LOL I knew Hill took Texas but just couldn't stay awake last night.

It was quite an unusual experience tho. Obama I must say did have some crazy ass woman from California that was trying to tell us that she was some movie producer out here campaigning for him. She was handing out literature and I didn't see one Hillary campain person, nor did I see any signs. It was just really wierd. Course we are prodomitaly black not hispanic. Especially in Harris and Galveston county. It was a trip tho!!

The Clinton organization in Texas was made up of long time Texas Democrats. Obama brought in outsiders. Bad move by him IMO.

Clinton wins Texas, or did she? Caucus results are in for Texas and this is what CNN says.

Quote:
(CNN) — Illinois Sen. Barack Obama has won the Texas Democratic caucuses and will get more delegates out of the state than his rival, Sen. Hillary Clinton, who won the state's primary, according to CNN estimates...

Looks like she lost it. It doesn't matter thought Texas WILL go to McCain.

CNN only shows 41% of the Texas caucuses reporting after a week. Why so slow?

At any rate it’s going down to wire and will likely end up a battle on the convention floor. The riots … er, protests are already being planned.
