| Willie Nelson concert sold out! DodgeCity.com: Dodge Globe: Local News: Stories I can't believe it took them so long to sell out! It just goes to show that the entertainment industry isn't supported in SW Kansas and in no way will a new Events Center ever be able to hold sold out concerts like this!! I mean why would anyone, especially in the country music business, want to come to Dodge City, where the population doesn't support it, and then be asked to play in a brand new arena that supports its acoustic needs? Seems like common sense to me and a very hard sell to the entertainers coming through.... It's a pity......

| somebody correct me if i am wrong (and i'm sure someone will) but as of a month or so ago all that was really left were maybe some standing room only tickets. And from what i have heard is that the Jason aldean concert has had some very good ticket sales as well. |

| I guess it's because I went through my Willie and Waylon phase in the late 70's and early 80's and have no desire to see him now.

| The local "Marijuana Growers of Mexico Association" are beefing up the supply too. Just to keep Willie and the boys happy! When are they bringing in Pink Floyd or the Rolling Stones??  Jeez, there is music out there, other than country! |

| Willie and the other guy that's coming here may not be Pink Floyd or the Stones but it's a start. The good thing is that they are selling out which shows there IS interest! Now if they could get a large, well known Mexican band in here like Los Tigres or something I bet they could REALLY sell some tickets...lol
