It's definitely time to have somebody with real military background in the White House. I don't mean that because I think McCain will keep the war going or even Colin Powell, if we're lucky enough to get him on the ticket. I mean that because they know first-hand the human costs of war and I really believe they will try to bring it to a diplomatic end instead of a military one.

I like the Fred Thompson option immensely. He was my choice early on but I think he got in too late. Or Romney for the New England option.

Yes...you are against letting the soldiers stay there and finish what they started. You would bring them all home asap and the liberal media would paint the U.S. as losers and it would damage our military and our national image for years if not generations to come.
