I have an idea Old Timer let us tax all business profits excessively, tax all ceo's excessively and then we can all sit back smug and glad that the evil rich are being punished , while the evil rich smugly smiles back and says see you later and sets up shop in some other nation. How is that a simple view or even derogatory? I would assume the Republican party is also PARTIALLY made up of the same people. Sorry but most welfare recipients, if they even register, usually register as Democrats. As do most minorities. Now if you want to take that as deragatory, fine. Somebody has to have the most, just simple logic. Unless you are asking for the parties to start some sort of affirmative action thing, you know, to balance things out.

There should be a way that we the people could vote on issues...sorta like the polls on all the cable news programs. Ask voters what they think.

Maybe some day, with all the technology, there will be a solution. It would be nice for all registered voters to be able to be involved in the decision making process without voting for liars and cheats to represent us.

HEY....it just came to mind that we wouldn't need so many useless bozo's in the House and Senate..... Think of all the money saved if we the people had a direct HOTLINE.

The problem is..no one cares what the voters think...All that matters is the big business with the big money. Look at Dodge City for example....the Globe took a poll that the number one issue in Dodge is illegal immigration. NOT ONE of the people running for commission wants to take a stand against immigration. They say..."it's a Federal problem". It's NOT a Federal problem if you are a victim of someone committing a crime that is illegal. IN MY OPINION each and every tax paying citizen in Dodge is a victim. We are being robbed blind and no one will help us.
