Remember the woman Clinton had thrown in jail overnight because she said something he didn’t like in a public place?

Yep, in fact the Democrats have been using free speech zones for a long time. Including the 88,92,96,00 and 04 nominating conventions.

Just a waste of more taxpayer money. Instead of running around, wishing he was a HS class valedictorian, he should be saving the expense by figuring out how to get the US out of all the messes that he seems to have gotten us into! I suppose the SS will be showing up shortly to spend a couple weeks playing out the "Men In Black" routine.

I agree with Monster. We can bash him all day long, but I truly believe he's putting himself out there to do the commencement address to this grad class for the right reasons. Greensburg was absolutely flattened by the tornado. So did they all move away and build somewhere else? And leave the town to clean up the mess itself? No - they all banded together like the strong people of Kansas they are. They have built an even better Greensburg than was there. I think it's fitting that the President recognize that by visiting at the most important event held there since the storm. He's simply recognizing a group of people that have picked themselves up and dusted themselves off and made themselves better. I don't think it's an attention grab. He has an office in his jet (I've actually seen the Airforce 1 plans) and his business can go on. The only time he's "wasting" is the hour or so he'll be there.

'The Sebelius road show was in full force this week as the Governor decided to take a spring break trip to the south on the backs of Kansas taxpayers.

First, she spent the weekend in San Antonio watching the Jayhawks win the National Basketball Championship. Heck, for all her hard work she even got a piece of a Final Four net!

On Thursday and Friday, while the rest of Kansas was hard at work, she enjoyed some time in North Carolina campaigning for Barack Obama. We should remind you that previously, Sebelius had stated that her campaigning for Obama was “mostly on weekends.” Guess that doesn’t apply during spring break week for the Governor.

She visited Davidson College Thursday on behalf of Obama proudly promoting Barack Obama’s platform, vision of retreat from the War on Terrorism, record increases of taxes on Americans, and record increases of spending. (
Here)

Sebelius also visited Salisbury, North Carolina claiming the Bush Administration has been “the worst administration in history.” Ridiculous statements like this continue to divide the nation and embarrass the state. Her statements are divisive and ill conceived.
You can read the article for yourself here.
Rather then attending the 22nd annual Governor’s One-Shot Turkey Hunt starting today in El Dorado, she is still in North Carolina working hard for the most liberal Senator in the country. Next up, she will be attending the Masters Golf Tournament courtesy of tickets paid for by the Democratic Governor’s Association.

While we don’t begrudge anyone vacation time, it shouldn’t be done on the taxpayer’s dime.'

This is from the RIGHT wing extremests, but thought it was interesting since we are discussing Bush not taking care of things. Looks like Gubbenor She'llBillUs might be doing a bit more goofing off!!!!

I don't really like Bush. That being said, I think this is a really great thing for these kids. It isn't often that any of us would get to meet the President in our lifetimes. I think that this little town needs all the uplift they can get and if that comes in the form of a Presidential visit then so be it. I'm not a huge fan but I don't begrudge anyone else getting to meet the President. I also don't really care what his motives are in doing it. I'm just glad a little town that lost so much is getting a little more attention.

Have you been to Greensburg Muff? Have you talked to many people over there? And yes, alot of Greensburg residents left because they were getting ripped off and were tired of people telling them how they had to spend their money. As for his AF1 Jet, yes, I have been in it, know what it cost, know what it costs to maintain and fly. The real heroes and manpower in Greensburg was the Kansas Dept of Transportation. They tore up their vehicles, spent their money, put in their manhours, because our National Guard equipment and most of our manpower was over in IRAQ! I guess George W is probably coming out to see his old buddies at BTI------
