Could one person know any less about the city they lead?

You're right about the association of Dodge City with Gunsmoke. Like that matters. The only connection between Dodge City and the show Gunsmoke was that Gunsmoke made it's name off of Dodge City's fame.

Raising gas prices are another good reason to entice visitors to Dodge City. In case you haven't noticed, we happen to be smack dab in the middle on the nation. The easterners have a habit of vacationing on the west coast or Florida, and the westerners have a habit of vacationing on the east coast or Florida. Now we will be a more economical choice from coast to coast.

Quit thinking small already. Thats what got us in trouble with the dirt track.

It's the mentally questionable comment relating to Gunsmoke that makes me confused about the whole thing.

Thank you Old Timer. I appreciate the time and effort you spend reporting on what is happening on this matter. You are well informed. That is not easy. You seem to be sincerely interested in Dodge City and the history of Dodge City as it relates to the matter.

Geez, and we elected these guys??? Where does Weber stand? Why didn't he speak up?? This "political nightmare" known as Dodge City, just continues to amaze me, and it's been a helluva lot of years!!
