I saw this last night too - hoped someone would post it - I'm just plain out of energy.

The guy deserves so much worse for what he's done. And in front of his wife and young son, too! It was premeditated, it was cruel - let's use his knife to slit his throat. I guess it's another country and all.....and they do have some 'special' beliefs about family.....but it's just wrong. No matter what.

Oh that's just ONE human rights violation that Pakistan practices on a daily basis. Women are property - he's being hailed as a hero by his peers and he'll probably get a special front row kneeling place in his mosque. If it had happened here - and it very well could - there would be some "mohamed" somewhere hollering that he was just "practicing his culture - and we were being insensitive by treating him like a criminal"........he'll probably get the lightest possible punnishment. This story is probably Pakistan showing reporters how "far they have come" on human rights so they can get another billion in aide.........
