WV miners found alive!
Just in, 12 miners found alive after 41 hours trapped in mine!

One of the 13 died in the explosion.

I had feared they wouldn't find them alive, but was hoping for the best.

The families are hot and justifiably so. I wonder what PR genious announced that and who his sources were. Too bad it will take close to a year to finally sort it all out. They have learned the hard way not to be so glim in the refinery business - the price for pain and suffering just rose by leaps and bounds................... idiots.........

NPR's story this morning stated that 'the news' left the rescue area via a cell call from someone who misunderstood what was said and it spread like wildfire.

NPR should rebroadcast it.

Yeah but in this type of emergency the miners' families rely on the "company" for info........ they know that is the "only" reliable info....... it's a way of life for folks with family in dangerous jobs. I would never trust a news source - only a uniformed cop for my son and DIL's welfare.........
