Something out of the Left Channel of the Stare-e-0.

Gooooooooogle-ing for old toys tonight I came upon this:

Quote:
"Must be something in the water" No, its not in the water, ITs in the governor's chair and ITs in the presidents chair. They are training the children to accept the police state. Florida and the Bush's, have declared war on children.

The Bush's are sacrificing children at the Bohemian Grove and selling them to foriegn diplomats as sex slaves. More children in Florida are abducted, molested and now turned into felons than any other state.

The Hillbilly Mafia has taken over our country and now even are children are in danger. When will people wake up! The children! Help them!!! They are our future! If we cannot even get riled up enough to do something about this and other Bush atrocities then we really are doomed as a nation and deserve whatever what ever happens.

Yelp, sounds like the ratings of a mental vegetable with a critical thinking problem all right.

Obituary

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Mr. Common Sense. Mr. Sense had been with us for many years. No one knows how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such value lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm and that life isn’t always fair. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more then you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not kids, are in charge).

His health began to rapidly deteriorate when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. – Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Mr. Sense declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer aspirin to a student; but, could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Finally, Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense finally gave up the ghost after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot, she spilled a bit in her lap, and was awarded a huge financial settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust, his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son Reason. He is survived by two stepbrothers; My Rights and Ima Whiner.

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Sense. I know that he has been ill for some time. I have had many good visits with him in my life. We worked through many problems together and he always helped me make the right decision. He will be hard to replace and perhaps he will never be replaced. Once again I am sorry to hear of his passing.

I too will miss him, I often wondered why I didn't see him around, especially in Dodge City. This explains it.

The best I can do is cherish his memory and try to let him live on in my heart and mind by the things that I do while thinking about how he would have done it.

Here is a Q&A from the website. I don't know where or when he went to public school but when I went to public school, and it was many years ago, they had zero tolerance. If you broke the rules they had paddles and they would make you bend over grab your ankles and they would warm up your butt cheeks. I learned from it and feel I'm no worse off for the experience.

Q: What motivates you to do this?

A: My motivations are 3 little kids and an almost unhealthy disdain for injustice. I despise hypocrisy, I have no tolerance for stupidity and I can't stand dirty politics - the three main traits of zero tolerance. I had a great time in public school and I'd eventually like my kids to have some of the experiences I had. That can't happen until zt is gone. There is just no way I will put my kids in a situation that unhealthy and so fundamentally unjust. An additional motivator is the huge support from a community of like-minded individuals - the readers, commenters and contributors to this site.
