Just because they are using chapter 11 bankruptcy, does that necessarily mean they are going to close?
Personally, I hope not - I like their amercanized version of mexican food. I put them in a different class than Casa Alavarez or Taco Jalisco - to me, they do not serve the same kind of food. I know if I am in the mood for authentic mexican food, I do not go to El Charro's. Conversely, if I am in the mood for mexican food with lots of sour cream and cheese and awesome cheese sauce, El Charro's is where I will go. | I think through Chapter 11, they are allowed to reorganize their debt and seek relief from creditors. Usually allowed to continue to operate (such as maybe just the DC restaurant). So, the doors might be open and I'm sure they would welcome our support. Haven't driven by, so not sure if they're operating. I would expect they are.
